Percutaneous surgery

Correction of foot pathologies through small incisions

It is a surgical technique that we use to correct some of the pathologies of the foot, through minimal skin incisions, significantly limiting the patient's postoperative pain and allowing the patients an early return to daily activities

This procedure is used on bunions or hallux valgus, claw toes, transverse plane motion, hammer toes, bunionettes, plantar fasciitis, Freiberg disease, among other diseases. It even takes care of conditions such as hand exostosis foot or tennis elbows, resistant to conventional medical treatment.

The anesthesia used here, consists of a regional block at the ankle and sedation of the patient, thus limiting the inconvenience of general anesthesia, and the epidural block. In addition, the entire procedure is guided by a fluoroscopic study.
