The laboratory acquires a latest generation automated immunoassay analyzer.

The high-speed and latest generation Beckman-Coulter DxI automated immunoassay analyzer has been in operation since February 2007. This equipment has the ability to process more tests in a single analyzer, improve Immunology Department procedures, give the results faster and do tests that previously had to be sent to the United States, as in the case of growth hormone, ferritin, folate in serum, Vitamin B12 and, in the near future, DHEA-S tests.
